SignDo Acceptable Use Policy

Version: 1.1 Effective date: 2026-07-18

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may not do with SignDo.ai, a service operated by Odd Moose Inc.

SignDo is an AI-powered personal ASL workspace in Early Access. It is not a replacement for a qualified interpreter. Do not use it for emergency, legal, medical, financial, or other safety-critical communication.

This policy forms part of the SignDo Terms of Service. You may use SignDo only if you meet the account eligibility rule in the Terms: you must be at least 13, and if you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.

1. Follow the law

You may not use SignDo to break the law or help someone else break the law.

This includes using SignDo to:

  • commit fraud;
  • impersonate another person;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse someone;
  • violate privacy or publicity rights;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights; or
  • evade sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions that apply to you.

2. Do not use SignDo for high-risk communication

You may not use SignDo as a substitute for a qualified interpreter in situations where accuracy, safety, legal rights, medical care, financial decisions, emergency response, or similar serious consequences matter.

You may not present SignDo as:

  • emergency communication support;
  • legal advice or legal interpretation;
  • medical advice or medical interpretation;
  • a financial advisory tool;
  • an accessibility compliance tool; or
  • a replacement for accommodation or interpreter obligations.

3. Respect other people's rights and consent

You may upload or submit content only if you have the rights and permissions needed to do so.

You may not submit content that:

  • belongs to someone else without authorization;
  • violates confidentiality obligations;
  • invades another person's privacy;
  • contains unlawful sexual exploitation material;
  • contains child sexual abuse material;
  • contains non-consensual intimate imagery; or
  • otherwise breaks the law or another person's rights.

If your content includes another person's image, voice, or signing, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law.

4. No abuse of the service

You may not:

  • try to gain unauthorized access to SignDo or another account;
  • bypass authentication, billing, usage limits, feature gates, or security controls;
  • probe, scan, or test the service in a harmful way;
  • interfere with processing, queues, storage, or infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract private system details except where law clearly gives that right and cannot be waived;
  • use bots or automation in a way that harms the service or other users; or
  • use SignDo to create spam, scams, or deceptive content.

5. No harmful or misleading output use

You may not knowingly use SignDo outputs to:

  • deceive people about what was actually signed, said, or meant;
  • misrepresent SignDo output as certified, official, or professionally interpreted;
  • create false evidence or misleading records;
  • harass or discriminate against others; or
  • support violence, self-harm, terrorism, or other serious harm.

6. Account misuse

You may not:

  • share your account in an unauthorized way;
  • let another person use your account to break these rules;
  • create accounts using false or misleading identity information; or
  • create accounts to evade a suspension, restriction, or ban.

7. Support and reporting

When you contact support, you may not send unlawful content, abusive threats, or malware.

If you choose to share a job with support, share only material you are allowed to share.

8. Enforcement

If you break this policy, we may take action, including:

  • removing or limiting access to content;
  • refusing or stopping processing;
  • suspending or terminating accounts;
  • preserving records for investigation;
  • reversing support sharing access when appropriate; and
  • reporting conduct to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.

We may act to protect users, third parties, the service, or our legal interests.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updated versions apply from their stated effective date.
