Real signers, real prompts
Clips come from fluent signers recording curated prompts on camera — not from scraped video. Contributors know exactly what they are recording and why.
Reviewed clip by clip
Every take passes automated technical checks and human review before it counts. Bad lighting, wrong phrase, out-of-frame hands — rejected, re-recorded, or discarded.
Consent first
Contributors accept versioned consent terms before recording, can withdraw a clip within 48 hours, and public use of clips is strictly opt-in. Clips are video only — no audio is recorded.

ASL Lab
An invite-only recording studio inside the SignDo app where fluent ASL signers help build the dataset behind better ASL recognition. Contributors record short clips from curated prompts, every clip is reviewed, and accepted clips earn SignDo minutes that never expire — usable across the whole app.
